Hey all. I'm thinking about buying a tank from glasscages.com and going to pick it up in September or October when they're at a show closer to Texas. If anyone else wanted one, i'd pick it up for 20 bucks (if I have room in my truck) just to help cover fuel costs and what have you.

Anyone interested?

I'm thinking of maybe the 2 x 2 x 2 cube with overflow, i've never heard of them, is it quality equipment. Also I might check into shipping it direct to me. I will let you know.

About a year or more ago there were reports of sloppy silicone work, but everyone who has been getting them lately has loved them. You can't beat the price, but direct shipping is kinda rough.

Nobody want in? I'm actually going to pick up the tank(s) in October in New Orleans when they make a stop there.

You can get custom tanks made with starfire for cheap.

check out the price list here: http://www.glasscages.com/?sAction=ViewCat&lCatID=2

Starfire was about 80 bucks for tanks around 60-80 gallons. Not sure what the cost is per square foot at certain thicknesses though. e-mail them for quotes. I'm getting a reef ready 70 gallon starfire cube shipped to New Orleans for under 300, so i'm happy.

Thats right New Orleans is not safe, I mean you might find that you have a lose track of time, eat to much, and get a general feeling of enjoyment. Then next thing you know you will be thinking of moving there. hehe

Yaoming what you got against the old city, been there and got pickpocketed, while telling some ladies of the night you weren't interested? Or you didn't wait to after 2 am to go to Bourban street like all the locals?

Well, if its just the crime, and education, well the education is the whole state, the crime, well can't say to much there, for it is the truth. But at the same time not many places in the world like the city. I know people that live there, but all my family is north or west of NO. I like Lafayette better, but it doesn't have as may of the Blues and Jazz bars.

Ok, enough of us talking about the city, lets get back to glasscages.

P.S.
About the pickpocket, that happen to a friend while we were down there one night, luckily she only got his convention pass.
