Good snail or Bad snail??? (1 Viewer)

I got some new zoa's and apparently have a couple free snails included. Anyone have an idea if they are good or bad? All I could get was the shell as he dived back into the polyps. I plan on getting them out of the tank while I can still find them, then put them back if they are safe. I'll be looking around online for info. Here is the pic if anyone can help. Thanks!

That looks like a Sundial/Box snail... they eat zoas!!!

I'm pretty sure it is not a sundial. The shape is wrong. Haven't found any pictures of a box snail, but here is what I found for the sundial.

I have them in my fuge now. Still looking to find out what they are. Thanks!

I had those guys in Chicago, I left them in the tank because I thought they were interesting and pretty. Ate all my yellow star polyps in a couple of days. Yank em!

The second picture is what I found online, it isn't what came with the zoa's. I still haven't found a good match for the snail that I have......

Whatever is in the first picture looks EXACTLY like the snails I had...they sure liked the taste of the yellow star polyps. At first I thought they were bumblebee snails, but I doubt that it what that is, bumblebees tend to have yellow stripes.

ive seen a bumble bee snail that looks like that at this small fish store i went to yestetrday

Thanks for the input. Guess I'll pull them out of my fuge to be on the safe side and send them packing.....
