Every summer my pond attracts the prettiest dragons I have ever seen.
When I saw this couple I had to grab the camera to share.
They are actually more colorful than what I was able to capture.

i love dragon flies. they're so vicious, especially as juveniles.

I think I have always thought they were cool creatures, but when they started showing up red, purple and orange, I moved my fascination for them up a few notches.

Is it fly larvae that get in swimming pools and seem like they chase you around with pincher's?

i think those are water scorpions.

OK cool, definitely the scorpions that used to chase me around!
