One of the coolest brackish fishes to raise for me was the green scan. I realize that they can also live in pure salt water.. are they reef safe and dangerous?

They were fine in a fish only brackish tank. what is anyone's experience with this fish?

Never kept them in a reef. But they do prefer higher salinities as they get older. They are pretty herbivorous, so it might eat any macroalgaes u have.
