Hagen phosphate test instructions? (1 Viewer)

Arrgh! I went out this afternoon and bought a phosphate test -- trying to get a handle on our hair algae. I was looking forward to running multiple tests tonight (the tank, the source water, freshly mixed salt) and spending a little time being a complete geek. Opened the box and there are no instructions! Of course it's too late to go back and get the instructions now, so I'm trying to find them online (with the color chart too). No luck so far, but they've got to be out there somewhere. Has anyone ever seen this info online?

when i worked at Global i used to do the phosphate tests all the time with Hagen kits.

i think it should be 5 and 5 and 5

im not 100% sure though you can call Global and ask?

Fill test tube with 5 ml of water.

Add 3 drops of reagent #1. Insert cap & shake well.

Add 3 drops of reagent #2. Insert cap & shake well.

Add 3 drops of reagent #3. Insert cap & shake well.

Wait 2 minutes for color to develop and match the test color to the closest color on the chart.

After use, rinse with fresh water. Do not use soap or other detergents to wash test tube. There is a risk of phosphate contamination.
