as some may remeber my hammer hasnt came out since i changed to vhos. i am running uri vhos 1white & 1actinic, was wondering if it would help if i went to coralife 50/50 vho, thought maybe it would be less intense on the hammer.

If it was the light then putting it lower in the tank would be just fine.
Is there any tissue ression? Can you take a picture?

i put it at the bottom of the tank sun or monday. its not dying its just not coming out. it does about a 1/4" maybe 1/2'' at times. i just thought the 50/50 light maybe less intense on it since its not as white as the uri white.
sorry cant do any pics right now.but whats coming out looks fine. and since i moved it its not putting out the brown slim stuff.

Ronnie, give it some time, changing lights will only stress it out more, it will have to adjust each time you change bulbs. Just be patient. It will turn around..

yea guess thats what i'll do. if it wasnt so cool looking i'd just sell it but i havent seen another like it. it has a peach color under actinic lights.
