While it is easy to differentiate between a NY Knick versus an Aussie Gold, I still can't figured out the difference between a Hellfire and Dragon Soul. I search this forum and the Internet, but it cast more doubts. Please see photos what they are saying. Any help would be appreciated

Just sellers trying to differentiate theirs from others to get more money out of them. IMO.
I'm leaning towards your analysis. However, they morphed depending on lighting, which makes this even more confusing. I have both and I can see the difference. What I thought was a hellfire, others are saying is a dragon soul. I'm sure they all came from the same colony in Indonesia. LOL

Haha that’s literally all I had to work with.
But that could be lighting. Like one came earlier than the other, or one was in one combo and the other was in a different setup and they morphed into those colors then.
I don't know, but I just think it's crazy spending the kind of money most of these "super named" corals are going for. Most of the time they are going to color morph in your tank anyways and it won't be what you thought you were getting.
I absolutely agree on the crazy prices. Notwithstanding that, I caved when I was able to buy them below market. That doesn't say much though
I'm still monitoring them, but the dragon soul has more gold in the tentacles. Plus the tips are a lighter teal. I see how some say they are sorta white depending on lighting. I took that photo earlier with the powerhead off, and clearly see the difference in the three types of torches.
Sorry I wasn't trying to "bash" your purchase or anything. Getting one below market is still a good decision. Nah, I didn't take it the wrong way. I really think it's ridiculous these are going for so much. I just couldn't resist. Don't get me started on the bounce game. I paid $150 for these two when they were smaller than a dime. Approximately 4+ inches now.
