Shawn, my 29 got a MH, but the Eclipse, I was wanting to keep the same hood, so pcs it is.

This morning I seen one of the larger pods in my 3 gal, it looked huge compared to the tank. Funny how that works the smaller the tank, the more you notice the little beings in it.

morphlizard, is that shaving brush plant in your nano? I really wanted one of those, but no LFS has them when I visit. Did you get it online?

Sure is, all of the macro in that pic is from Florida. I got it all online. There is not only Merman's Brush, but some Mermaids Fan (udotea palmate) and if you look really close you can see a couple of scraggly halimeda sp. I really wanted a calcareous algae foreground for this tank.

sdnesmith,

How do you like your yellow clown goby. I was thinking about getting one of those but they seem to perch all day. I want to get something ver small but swims out in the open.

Funny you brought this up. In my nano I have a yellow clown, a neon goby, and small false perc. This is in fact my 3rd yellow clown. The first was never healthy and died and the second got sucked into my pump in the quarantine tank ( I have since modified it..). The first one did nothing but hide in the SPS, which is what they do. I no longer have any SPS and this yellow clown is not only healthy but always out in the open. At it's worst it perches on the side of the glass but still in the open. Just make sure that you buy one with a full tummy, that is very important.

Overall, both of these gobies are pretty boring, I like the false perc but would replace the gobies if I had to do it again. My reasoning for these fish in the first place was that they are pretty much as small as you can get... Which is still valid reasoning for such a small tank I guess.

imsuperjp: I bought it from tinytaser on ebay. Here's the link to what i got: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=42225&item=4327334016. You may want to check with them to see if they have any available. The ballast was easy to wire up and works great.

tvu: He seems rather comical right now. I got him mainly because I like yellow and it brightens up the tank a little. He likes to hang around in the large clump of palys in the back, but often perches on the glass in the front as well. Funny, he swims out whenver he sees my little girl come up to the tank. Flirt!

I got most of the anthelia out of the tank last night and I'm glad I did. They had irritated the palys in the front to the point that three polyps had completely shrunk up and withered.
