How big is he (to decide how bad he will hurt if he bites lol)? Just be careful when you get him out and remove everything in that chamber ... eels have a tendency to roll themselves into a knot when you try to get them out of somewhere.

I'm not familiar with biocubes, but if you can just reach in there and gently put him into the main tank. If your hand can't fit inside, you can gently use a very small net or some sort of plastic rod. Just take your time and be careful. Its not too dangerous back there for him, so just try to not stress him out.

Oh, and if you need to make something to lift him out of the chamber with, you could try putting a wire clothes hanger through some airline tubing. Then you could wrap it around itself to make a sort of handle that you may see on some aquarium nets (I would avoid putting that metal in the tank though, since I don't know what it is made out of)

Did you try removing the filter and other stuff from the chamber? I have a 29BC and trying to visualize where he got stuck

if he got in, he can get out... just may take im awhile. If nothing else give a few days then try a small bottle etc with food in it... he'll go into the bottle to get the food (when they get real hungry their not all the cautious) & you can pull it out.

i had a goby that did this and now have a peppermint shrimp in the chamber that will not come out. I got the goby out by kind of pestering him on and off with the hanger idea... after a day or two did it again but with food at the top he came up and had the net ready... I know eels are diffrent but there is hope!
