That's what I thought at first, but my buddy has a kenya that looks nothing like it.... Figured I would ask the group here!

More important than ID i suppose is seeing if anyone knows why he is acting so strange this week.. Hasn't opened in four days, and has now developed brown spots. I have two of these tree corals, (one is a frag of the original) and they are both acting strange (although they have both been fine for months...). My initial thought is something with my water, since they are BOTH acting strange all of a sudden, but my other corals are fine.... I attached a picture of him today... note a HUGE difference! :)

that picture looks more like a leather coral instead of a kenya tree.

the problem with it can be:
-not enough water flow
-unstable tank parameters
-high nutrient load causing cyano to grow on it
-possible infection/fungus
