Help work Diy overflow (1 Viewer)

Built this overflow and finally its working. Super noisy though. The water flowing into the sump sounds like a water fall. Any ideas to help quiet this down?

You could try to raise the the water level in the wet/dry filter a couple of inches. Also if there is a downward bend in the flex tubing to the filter its going to cause the water to pulse (fill the dip then push it out) and that may be contributing to it.
