Insulate your lines if you haven't and still can. If the beer warms up in the lines it will spoil and if it doesn't stay cold it will be nothing but foam.

Really sweet idea, my wife ever kicks me to the curb I'm doing something similar :)

Time for a small update for those that are following.

This is the sanitizing bucket. It's filled with water and StarSan. You must sanitize everything that comes into contact with the beer. Germs = funky beer.

This is the Corny Keg getting sanitized.

This is the 6 gallon bucket with about 4.5gallons of beer inside.

This is the setup to transfer the beer into the corny keg. We just cooked and ate lunch. I didn't want to clean up to make a mess again. The transfer is much like a WC for a aquarium. Only thing is that the lines are a lot cleaner and I use a racking cane. I fill the cane up with sink water first, then close the valve, then put it into the beer being carefull to not to let it touch the bottom where the yeast is.

This is the I had placed the beer bucket on the table an hour earlier with a piece of 2x4 under one side. The idea is to get the the yeast at the bottom to slide to the lower end. This way, I am better able to get more beer out without disturbing the yeast.

This is the StarSan Foam that was still in the corny keg pushing out like a cone. This happen due to the beer filling up the keg and the foam rising.

This Is just a quick shot of the yeast that is left at the end. There is a lot of it.

The only thing left is to lube the big o-ring and put on the cleaned/sanitized lid for the corny keg. After the lid is on, you attach it to your CO2 and carbonize it.

I had insulated my lines a while back. I just took some plumbing foam things, cut them to length, snaked the beer lines through and added zip ties. No splicing or anything to let the cold out.

Try to use a stainless pot for cooking, It looks like you were using an aluminum pot. Using an aluminum pot can add a funny taste to the brew.

Nice setup!!
