Hotel recommendation, Panama City Beach area (1 Viewer)

Any recommendations for a place to stay around Panama City Beach for a week in late June through July?

My son is about to turn 13, so he gets to take scuba this weekend in Lake Jackson. My daugher, 16, has been diving with me for the past 4 years. Want to break him in slow this summer diving on the Jetties in Florida.

Stayed in Destin the first three years my daughter dove. She absolutely loved finding sea shells around the Destin Jetties. Utilized MWR faciliities at Destin and Eglin AFB, but the wife wants a new place within driving distance. Went to Key Largo last summer but just cann't afford the extra for airfare this year.

Change of plans. IAH to Miami on American Airlines was only $1138 for the four of us. Booked a room at Islander Resort on Islamorada.

Has anybody on here used Key Dives?

No but I have used Captain Slates dive operation in Key Largo and Key West Pro divers down in Key West. Both are great companies to dive with.
