A lot of houses under water in Walden and along hwy 105. The whole neighborhood would be under water if it reached mine.
Going to work tomorrow on a friends house. The last time this happened I worked on some 30 houses. Heartbreaking.

We got 9" the last 2 days, but we're fine. The only issue is the dogs will be a muddy mess once it starts drying up.

Our daughter in Huntsville got around 20" over the week, but their house is fine too.

Yes sir. I have 9 tanks. Both fresh and saltwater. Everything is on some sort of battery backup. i installed a manual transfer switch for my generator after Uri. Also have 20 gallons of gas on hand at all times for times like these. Power here goes out quit frequently
Do you have backup power? Genny/whole house battery's?

Same here. But 3 gennys and 55 gallons gas / 100lb propane. Gotta keep the A/C and internet going. Boring without TV

Had to run my home on genny for pretty much all of Thursday. Luckily, power came back Thursday night. I still have the NG hose and electrical cable ready to go, but I think we might be in the clear Gonna pack them up and back into the generator shed tomorrow.
