You can use miss Ball's pickling lime at the grocery store.
Go to www.reefcentral.com and do a search for lime water.

In my experience. Kalkwasser (pickling lime) is great for maintaing alk and calcium, but not raising it.
Calcium/Alk/ and PH all have a balance. If you change one it effects them all.
What are each one now and what are you shooting for?
