I never have owned, and never will own, an injected fish, so I don't have any knowledge of how they fare long term, but it just seems wrong to me.

Regarding hybrids, it's kind of funny - I love the fancy strains of various freshwater fish such as guppies, bettas, and long-finned varieties of various species, but with saltwater I prefer the natural versions. Some of the "designer" clowns are pretty, but I will probably always stick with the wild color forms. I don't think there is any real logical reason, just my own preference.
