AgreedMan a QT is simple and inexpensive to set up, all you need is a 20gL, a hang on filter and small light and away you go. Much cheaper than losing those fish. Good Luck! Ich sucks!

I would argue that depending on the fish, the 20 gallon tank is worse than not quarantining at all. It's a scale of fish size versus quarantine tank size, but putting a 4" tang in a 20 long quarantine for a month is going to add more stress and cause more damage than good. When Humblefish was on our Bingo night call, I proposed that question to him and he emphasized the importance of properly sizing quarantine tanks as well. I dunno, just an observation that I've seen for a while now.Well I’m glad y’all got it all figured out.
I have been extremely busy! I will give you a call and catch-up.You're alive! How have you been?

My personal strategy is to just stock lightly and avoid fish that are prone to sickness. I don't recall ever having any visible fish diseases in my tanks.
