I've never experienced lag with my S5, but I understand. I think they are getting better at that problem. The iPhone are very smooth in operation, I'll give you that.

Does it really matter who started doing it first? Lay the iPhone 6 plus next to a Note 4. What operating system are you invested in already? Do you want to change everything you have or make a quick upgrade. These phones are so close in comparison now it really doesn't even matter anymore. I think we are going to see less and less people switching teams now that Apple offers 2 phone sizes.
I was android from day 1. two years ago I decided to bite the bullet and switch all my stuff to Apple to see what all the hype was about. Honestly, I was meh. I just didn't see that big of a difference. Both systems do exactly what I needed. Some better, some worse. Now that I'm 2 years ingrained into iOS and iTunes there's no way I'm switching back. Not because I think the new iPhone is that much better, because I don't want the hassle. I have since bought an iPad and love how my phone and it are synced with everything. Whatever I do on my phone is instantly on my iPad and vice versa.
My wife is the same. She has a Samsung Note 3 and she refuses to switch just because all of her stuff is Android. We both have intimate use of each others phones so we know what all they offer.
I am very interested in Apple pay though. I have a feeling it will take off. Can't wait. The only thing I wish Apple would change is their dang home screen. I'd really like to customize it outside of icons and folders. I do like that on her phone. Having a weather widget is definitely not enough to make me switch everything again though.
Hey Mark.....no it doesn't matter who did the bigger screen first not exactly what I was saying and don't get me wrong I'm still an appel fan don't think I will ever rid of my I pad or Mac and seeing the iPhone 5s wasn't much of a upgrade from the 5 I was pretty much forced to get the Imo at the time next best thing note 3 and I was blown away by all it could do idk if your wife use her device to its full potential bit I do and was amazed felt like I had Ben in a time capsule did even know that smartphones could have more features then the iPhone....lol but I was wrong some things I like with the note is that u don't need a app for everything a lot of there apps if u do need to download any it integrates into the phone vs u needing to open the app every time and also true multitasking omg... do u know how long I've Ben waiting on this let me tell u... lol it is so nice to be Abel to this also the gestures feature is wonderful and the fact the phone can ring and will not interrupt what ur doing.....got to love it and of course the widget's. ... as of now for me the note just offers so much more things I've Ben wanting and waiting on the iPhone to do so that being said when I was saying playing catch up was talking about how the note 3 is capable of all this and the iPhone 6 really isn't equivalent to it yet and the note 4 is about to release and again I don't want to take nothing from the iPhone I just want people to be aware of the difference as I was not. If I was never forced to get the note 3 I would have never known so please again do your research people they r both great phones but I'll be getting the note 4

Android Note for me too. I thought I'd never leave the iPhone a couple of years ago until I borrowed someone's Note 2. Don't even talk about the Note Edge. It's years ahead of Apple.

So, my buddy (at work... sits in the cubical garden out front of me) told me that he loves his plus. He is in love with the bigger screen.
He loves the 2 day battery life, too. He's on AT&T and also loves the fact he can do voice and data at the same time. Let's here it guys... My daughter's due for an upgrade. You likey? What do you dislike?
I played with the plus today. Holy hell it's big! (that's what she said)
Even the regular 6 feels big to me (but thinner) but I'll get over it once I decide to finally get one.
I wouldn't get the plus personally unless I didn't have an iPad, had big hands, and my jeans weren't so tight.
