I'm so confused!
My son told me bedtime was gay when he was about 5, I asked him what gay meant and he said it is where only boys go live on an island and they don't wear shirts. WTF? So unless you are shirtless on an island full of dudes....

Oh, no! You're getting it all wrong! This isn't a post about "gayness" in that sense. It's figurative. It's a word meaning quirky, weird, queer... nothing on homosexuals on islands running around shirtless throwing pickles at each other.
So, if I painted the backdrop in my garage a rainbow color, would people still come over? I keep a full stock of Arrogant Bastard in the beer fridge at all times.
