Just bought a 30 gallons tank with no center support. I noticed the tank bowl out at the center when filled up. Just want to know if this is normal.

Thanks

If I understand the question correctly you are saying that the glass is bowed out when the tank is filled with water.. No this isn't normal. Most all 30g do not have center bracing and is not needed. If the glass isn,t thick enough maybe thia is causing the problem.

You didn't say if your tank is acrylic or glass. It really doesn't matter though. If it is bowing out, it need bracing.

Is it possible you bought a herp tank? They have much thinner glass than aquariums as they are not meant to hold water but only little land-loving critters like snakes and lizards.
