That's what Iwaki impellers go for. To save some money, your best bet is to try to find a used one with a burned out motor and pick it up cheap, then swap the impellar from it.

I'd have to agree, seeing that I've paid $75 to replace the impeller in my Iwaki pump when it had a run-in with some ceramic phosphate beads.

At one time Drs Foster & Smith carried both LG and Iwaki. The phosphate beads missed my LG pump and its $20 impeller, and instead went right for the $75 Iwaki impeller. *Sigh*

FireMarshallBill,
The Little Giants are built in a shop in Orange, Tx.
Probably pretty cheap there.
Call them in the morning. If it's cheap enough for you, I'll pick it up and bring it to Kevin's Sat AM.

Interested?

Sherri (and other TRUE Reefers)-

Isn't that the story of life for us? We try to solve one "semi/small" problem which leads to a VERY BIG (or Expensive) problem.
