They never should have signed him for the contract that they did. For his price, they could have gotten a QB, which has been the missing link since I can remember. JJ getting signed for how much he did was solid proof in my books that The Texans are about making money first, and winning second. JJ isn't going to bring you a ring, but he puts butts in chairs, and is a likable guy. If you keep supporting this franchise, then you're keeping their business model alive and are part of the problem as well. Also, JJ will eventually get tired of this poor franchise management as well and move on. Let's just hope that a great player like himself doesn't waste his best years on a franchise that has no interest in being a serious competitor.

JJ is a franchise player and has won games for us single handedly. The coaching staff chose to play him when he wasn't ready
they were more concerned about wins than his health. They had chances to get QB in the draft but this management team
evidently believe the QB is not a high priority.

Watt's career is over. You never get back to full strength after multiple back injuries. He's smart enough to follow the recent trend, like calvin johnson, of retiring early and before becoming a broken down statistic.

Lord knows he isnt exactly broke either. Hell, just his HEB money is enough to retire on. Plus, he seems to have a great personality and is no stranger to being on tv shows. He will end up doing some type of broadcasting, I bet.

Watts career isn't over, he may not be the same. But getting back from back surgery may need him to sit out for the recommended time. And not him trying to be super man. I blame both Watt and the coaches for allowing him back 4-5 games early. Coaches have final say.
