For you SPS Lovers...
Here is my new addition. I think its a humilis. it has blue polyps with a purple body. Im just bragging! ;)

Oh, i bought it from City Pets for $50. :) Cant beat that price! Im usually a regular customer of Global (used to buy something every weekend), so John, if you are reading this.. I am ready for your shipment of SPS! you always had the best in town! Anyhow, here's the pics! ENJOY!

anan, i bought that piece from Global. It came from their beautiful BIG orange cap at the front entrance.

I got to see this tank in person Sunday and I have to say it's a beautiful thing! He's got a bright green coral (scientific name) that I thought about sneaking out and taking home, lol :D

That colony is one of severals which I've grown from a small Tyree's frag during the past 4 years. :p

twinspot.. are you the original owner of that huge orange cap that global had? I heard that it was sold to them by someone. Im guessing that was you. Do you have any pics of your tank? Thanks

Yep, that one was traded in to John for other wild acro colonies. I don't have any recent pix of my tank since I'm downgrading (unusual in this hobby!) to a smaller tank. But Quoc (fishcraze) took some while he was at my place a few months ago. Maybe he can show them.

twinspot, I took some pics of your tank but they dont do a justice to your corals due to my crappy photography skills:) I sent you an email about your tank change recently (like effect of stirring up the sandbed, cycling, etc..) since I'll have to move my tank soon.

Dont forget about the other monti caps to the left of it. I have a solid purple and a purple rim in between it that came from Kevin. They are all babies right now, but my goal is to have one colorful cap all growing around each other.

I wonder if the purple cap you got from Kevin came from me too. I traded in a large solid purple cap to City Pets several months back (outgrown my tank and was shading other corals). I heard that he later got it from them. :)

Nope, all of the large cap colonies are gone since I down sizing to a 110G. But I do keep small colonies or frags of those mother colonies. In about 1 year I should have a few large ones again :D .

Thanks! I remember when I asked Global how much they were selling that orange cap for and the other guy (not John or Serg) quoted me $650.
