The stand is about 7 feet long. The extra 1.5 feet on the right holds the electronics, and the left holds a 20 gallon acrylic ATO tank. My plan is to run a gravity-fed ATO, we'll see how it works out.

I will post some more pics with the full stand, sump and canopy soon.

I bought the tanks, cart and plumbing to make a mobile saltwater mixing and changing station. This is going to make my life so much easier, I want to kick my own butt for not doing it sooner.
I am using this wagon. It's 4'x2', plenty big enough yet skinny enough to fit through all of my doors. The big wheels will make it a cinch to get over doorjambs.
I got two of these tanks. Tank Depot on I10 near BW8 east is great. Bit pricey, but the tanks are nice, they'll drill/install bulkheads, etc. I went with 16 gallon tanks because the dimensions are perfect, and bigger would have been overkill.
I am using a Sicce Silent 3.0 pump that I had in the garage.
I got the cart put together this morning & now I just need to plumb the whole thing up.

We reefers are a strange bunch - excited about a mixing station on wheels.

I am pretty flexible man. Amy day Monday through Friday can generally work, as long as i am not traveling.

There is one on 249 now where the old Crab Shack used to be.

Or we can meet somewhere else on 290. That's closer to my home so I'm good either way.

Jeff! Come on and join us.

Or we can meet at my home where I have beer on tap. You can see the results of my near-fatal crash a few months ago and remind me how horrible I am at reefing! :)

249 is good. House is good too! I'm easy.
I hope to have water in the tank by then. Fingers crossed.

I have about 105 gallons of 0 TDS RODI in my two storage tanks. Maybe I can get it filled tomorrow afternoon. That would be awesome. I plan on filling the tank with RODI, starting with the overflow, before I add any salt. I'll mix it all at room temperature & then turn the heater on to warm it up.

I also finished plumbing the mixing cart tonight.

Some cell phone, dark, grainy pictures of the setup. The stand is about 7' long, and the tank is 4' long. The extra room is really nice for equipment. The extra space on the right holds my electronics (and one day will hold the CO2 bottle for a CaRx). The left holds a 20 gallon ATO res, and has some storage space under it.

First picture has the stand & canopy all opened up. You can see the ATO res on the left (the countertop on the stand lifts off for easy access to fill it). It's tough to make out any of the electronics on the right, as most of them are mounted on the wall you can't see.
There's an Avast CS1 recirculating skimmer, an Avast Davy Jones' locker, and I was test fitting a Vertex RX4 CaRx just to see how it fit. I'll probably add a BRS reactor for carbon as well. No extra pumps - that's the beauty of a manifold. I did go with a larger DC pump, a Waveline DC6000, to power it all. I also have an Apex that will control the beast. You can also see the aluminum frame inside the canopy; I made it out of 80/20 for the LEDs.

The second picture is the same angle, just with everything buttoned up.

Third picture is rotated 90* CCW for some fool reason, and is the tank from the door when you walk in the office.

I hate the drain setup. The tank has a 1" drain hole & a 3/4" return hole. I built a durso standpipe for the 1" drain, and I can NOT get it quiet. Maybe I needed to use bigger PVC for the standpipe, or something ... but thing is driving me batty. Only way it's quiet is if I run almost no flow back up through the return.

I should have built a Herbie, I guess. I may have to change this setup. Do I build a standpipe with larger PVC, or bite the bullet & build a Herbie?

Diesel, I can't find anywhere to get a Maggie Muffler before the week of Christmas. Doesn't seem like many places sell them online. I'm going to pull the 1" Durso I have, build one in 1.5", and see if that changes the behavior at all.
If that doesn't work, I'll try the Maggie. I know I can build a Durso tomorrow from parts I can get at Home Depot. Heck, I may get parts & try to DIY a Maggie while I'm at it.
