So my best friend is to blame for getting me into reefing but he has moved on and just set up a pico freshwater tank. Well his mother had him drain their koi pond and put the koi in a plastic baby pool while they try to figure the crack in the pond. Well as he's scooping out the last bit of water that would not siffon, he found a baby koi, >1" in size. So he being brilliantly minded, put that koi in his 4g pico. I facepalmed and said to him, "don't you know that basic rule of aquariums? Don't put anything in that is going to grow to be bigger than the tank itself? He just laughed.
