I've got 3 different types of leathers in my 55. Two of them have been in there for 8-10 months with no problems. The other one has been in the tank about a month, and hasn't really seemed truly happy the whole time. The other night I looked at them with a flashlight after the lights had been off for a few hours, and I noticed several tan/translucent colored slugs or something on them. Because the tank is in the bedroom and I didn't want to sleep on the couch I didn't turn on the lights and start messing with the tank, I just waited till the next morning. My wife and I picked nearly a dozen of these things off of them, but I haven't been able to find anything about them on RC. Anyone else find anything similar in their tanks, or maybe have a direction to point me to try to track down more info on them?

This is what the little b@st@rds look like. Can anyone ID it for me?
Hopefully this will work.

There are types of Nudi's that specifially eat leathers. From what I've read on different forums, your best bet is to kick the lights off at night, wait an hour or two, try to locate them on your leather and pick them off. I've read quite a few horror stories but if you catch them early, before they start doing real damage, you can get them before they multiply and start really becoming an issue

Good luck
