I have 2 10g, 1 5g, and 1 3g tank at home. they are all running on those hang on carbon filter.

It works pretty good but it splashes so my light bar gets all the gunk and stuff on it. is there a filter that has in input and output under water? does a canister filter do that? i dont want bulbs are a long bar across the tank..

i prefer something like an input and output right at the edge.

thanks. for your help guys!

I assume you are talking salt tank? of so.... They do make canister filters.... that might work well.... is it a reef tank or just fish? those are some small tanks.... have you considered a bigger tank? you could rig up a extension on the return side... that way you get less noise.....
