Yep. I have my 90 gallon vivarium setup, waiting on a few more plants and then frogs :D

I'd love to see a thread about one of these tanks. I've got an empty 55gal that I'd like to do something like that with but I wouldn't know where to start.
Anybody know of some websites?

Try Exotic Pets on Bellaire or Bissonet.
I saw some there about 3 weeks ago.
I assume they still carry them?

You might PM Clint Hotwater as well!
He keep them for a long time, and probably knows a lot about local resources!

Hey Shane, if it were me I'd get my frogs from dendroboard, either from one of the members or sponsors listed. The ones local are not near the quality and the price is just as high or higher. I bought my frogs both from members and from Cindy at http://www.vivariumconcepts.com/ She's here occasionally for reptile shows.

Here's another link to a dart frog board: http://www.dartden.com/

One thing I can't say enough is make sure you have a very snug lid. I lost a couple frogs from lids that I "thought" were snug. Those little guys really can squeeze out of anything.

I thought about mantella, but they are a little small for the size tank Im putting them in. (Unless the little research Ive done on them is wrong).

That and my son really wants D. Azureus

i just looked through the site listed above...and wow i had no idea that dart frogs were so expensive. just one frog goes for 50 dollars and more. i guess that's like fish and coral but wow i didn't know.

but, after looking through that site i think that i'm going to research that hobby and i just might get into that also. some of the pictures that i saw were awesome. the smoke and the close ups of the frogs i can see a little tank in my house with some frogs in it. i know that my daughter would love them.

for those of you that know...i've seen and caught green three frogs and they are really beautiful to me...would it be ok to place darts and i guess non-exotic frogs like tree frogs together?

Not recommended to mix any dart frog, even those that are similar. I keep all mine separate.

Very cool, I would also be interested in seeing your fruit fly "production" set up. That's the main reason I would not get Dart frogs.
