Long story short... My brother died last year. He lived in Conroe (Montgomery County), and my 84 year old father hired an attorney to settle my brother's estate. Well, it looks like we got taken for a ride by this attorney by paying upfront for his services and getting nothing done.

In any case, we are ready to move on from this attorney and hire another. However, being we all live out-of-state we are paranoid about hiring a new attorney who will actually get the job done. So, I am turning to the MARSH Community for advice/suggestions. TIA

I have a decent one down here in Pearland (Brazoria County) if you want to pm me for his contact info. He's a little dry but a good guy and definitely won't price gouge you. I know with a lot of probate rules, some may require everyone to meet at the attorney's office. Let me know.
