Mag 9.5 pump parts (1 Viewer)

The impeller housing on my Mag 9.5 wallowed out. Is this normal wear and tear, or is there a more serious problem?

Can I simply replace the impeller and housing, or should I trash it and move forward?

Maybe borrow an impeller from someone and see if it works OK?

the housing is worn out where the impeller sits. I have another 9.5 on my 75 gallon I could exchange parts just to ensure it works.

I guess that is why I've seen replacement impellers AND housings for sale.
