The one thing that I dont like with the Private messages is that the new PMs show up as an open envelope and the old ones show up as a closed envelope. I would think that they would be the opposite.

Those are just default icons that I can change and plan too going forward. I just need to find ones we want to use or get someone with vector graphics experience to make us some custom icons.

Whenever I get pm'ed it doesn't show up with an ICON saying that there is a message how do I fix that? I have to manually check to see if there are messages but no indicator. I hope this explains it.....

I get some kind of little window box that pops up to let me know that I have a PM and it opens in a seperate window.

at the top of the page, click on settings, then another page appears and on the left side of the page you will see my settings.
click on general settings and then scroll down and select pop ups for new messages. you mostlikely have yours turned off.

is there still a way to tell if the message has been sent? like before there was a sent folder and an outbox, ... any differentiating thing like that for this software?

click on inbox on the top of the page, once you are in your mail center, you will see a panel on the left, it has sent items.
you have to go into your settings like i posted above and select save copy of sent items. i have to warn though, it counts towards your inbox limits, you keep too many and you will see your limits being reached. and once full you won't recieve your messages. I think stores/vendors/sponsors should have a larger box though.

We'll be adjusting the limits, and yes members sponsors will definitely have a lot more storage.
