I have a 37 gallom reef with 250 metal Halide lighting. it is a little too bright for for my tank, so I am looking to replace it. I am not familiar with LED lights, becaus I usually use wattage as a rule of thumb when selecting lights.
I have heard great things about these lights, and I want to know how the 24"-36" model would do on my 37 gal reef, which has the same dimensions as a 29 gal, exept it's its taller. would it support a mixed reef? is it bright enough for acros amd montipora? is it too bright for things like shrooms? thanks for the info.

From what ive read, you might be able to keep the lower light SPS near the top, and softies and LPS elsewhere. Lower light SPS being monti caps

what if I were to have a 36"-48" fixture on a thirty gallon tank? does anyone know if that would be enough light to keep some more stonies (acros, stylophora)?
