I agree. To me a "soft coral" does not have any hard skeleton and is not an anemone, but obviously others have different ideas.
No, the jury isn’t out on that. Softies don’t calcify or make skeletons. An acan or Frogspawn isn’t a softie. They’re LPS, which are calcifying corals that also have soft tissue.

Let's have some fun guys. But if Glen is sneaking those Zoas in the picture he technically has a softie in the shot. But if we are wanting to play hardball then we can request a another picture....lol

well.... not entirely true. Tubipora Musica is a soft coral, however it does make a calcareous tube that it lives in. I do agree acan's an frogspawn aren't softies.

Last month was awarded to a piece of equipment. At least this is actually a coral. I’ll take it down.
