Millepora & Birdsnest , war? * Pic Added * (1 Viewer)

I bought a Millepora (black mamba) from Lesd at the picnic/frag swap.

I mounted it on a rock, down on the side of a rock between two baseball size colonies of Birdsnest, when the Mille starts to grow it will definataly grown into the BN.

Will they be ok together? I think I need to move it, BN is really fluffy and is starting to shade the Mille.

Nobody has any info on this? Found out my yellow polyps and candycane don't get along today at lunch. Can't wait till I get my 135 done.

Should be fine. Mille's don't need a lot of light.

What about when it starts to grow into the BN, will they try and kill each other off? I've always liked the look of multiple sps intertwined with eachother.

Those BN started out like the Mille about 9 months ago. Is that good growth for 9 months?

Pink and Green BN is a fast grower so yeah that's a good amount of growth.

I think the PM is too close to the GBN; move it while it's a frag. You don't want to move it later after it gets use to the flow and light in that one spot.

I'll move it soon, right now the tank is really crowded since I added some more rocks I had in the garage. Trying to get somewhat ready for the move into the 135.
