Thank you! I think so, but I may be biased.

We have 1 paludarium where the leucs will live. One 29g vivarium that the auratus are living in, 1 10g where the powder blues are living in and I have yet to set up the 20g for the reginas.

The paludarium is the only one fully set up and the pics aren't that great, but here's a couple. We can't seem to get past the shine on the glass.

Here's where I MUST post the disclaimer... I had NOTHING to do with building the paludarium. KarenB did all that all by herself. However, the frogs are MINE.......all MINE!!! Except maybe the powder blues, lol. :D

I finally took some pics of our two smaller set ups for our frogs. These are very basic and it shows how simple frogging can be. Oh, and this is KarenHorn. I was too lazy to switch ids. Please excuse the pic quality. I suck with a camera.

These 3 are of the 29g

I was about to say be careful with that deep lake in the first set of pictures... poison dart frogs dont swim very well. Only give them enough water to stand in..

But the tanks both look amazing!! good luck with everything!

I had a long talk on Dendroboard about the palidarium and not a one of them have had a problem with frogs drowning. I'm one of the many that has darts in that kind of setup. As long as there are plenty of places for them to get out of the water it's not an issue.

Having said that, I picked the frogs out of the "beginner species" that do better in water than most.

Wow... I would love to get into this hobby. All of the setups are beautiful! And the 29 gal is so simple, but its just perfect. I love it. Too bad these little buggers are a bit expensive... too rich for my blood. I would need to sell the car and invest in a dart frog tank. :)

You can get Costa Rican Auratus for about $25-35 a frog, no worse than a few corals or fish :D

I managed to get my Reginas by swapping some rics and zoas to a breeder that's starting up a reef tank. The Reginas usually go for about $125 a frog.

If you ever do decide to get into it let me know and I'll get you started on some fly cultures. Once you've got them going good a culture can last for months.

Ooops, this is KarenHorn. I just realized I was signed onto KarenB's, but I'm too lazy to retype or cute and past it again.
