thats awesome someone else actually rides a fiddy on the board. well mines a 108 with a manual clutch now but you know. so where all do you ride? do you go to ASI? my brother and i ride all over Houston on our fiddy's, parking lots, sidewalks, ditches and greenbelts (powerline/pipeline right of way). i also own but dont ride a buell blast, bought it to learn on put 15000 on it in a year and had to many small problems to be worth fixing. it does run and ive been contemplating bringing it back out for a ride. im looking for something supermotard for my next bike if i do anything on the street. also i would post pics but have a hell of a time getting them sized right so if you like you can see them here... http://www.myspace.com/pokespeople

mine is an 88... ride mostly around my house and neighborhood. it is legal on the streets in League city since they don't have an ordinace prohibiting golf carts... 50's fall under that same statute. I have never been to ASI, heard too many bad things about it.

i swear to you i called my brother and told him about the law you mentioned and he said did you tell him we wanted to come ride.. you should do the same, its a little more iffy over here, sometimes the cops tell us to go home sometimes they tell us to stay off the streets(we do anyway) and sometimes they just wish they could catch us....lol.. honestly we rarely get messed with, we usually ride in an area that is mostly commercial stuff so no one to upset and have calling the cops. we are stunters as well, my brother does so on his gsxr and fifty, i stick with the fifty. he does standups, sit downs, all that stuff. he was practicing slow speed stuff wishing he had a handbrake till he got a girl and doesnt have time to play... ASI is down the street from me, ive never had anything happen there but have heard some idiots roll through from time to time. i dont go often. we would certainly get our ride on if you wanted too.

yeah grease and gas isnt real easy to clean from upholstery. my brother has a truck so that shouldnt be a problem. well we will have to set up a day.. do you ride dirt at all. we like to ride dirt as well. we take them up to lake somerville from time to time and ride the big bike trails, very fun if you like mini's. you into http://www.tmgps.8k.com/ my brother is licensed and races with them and i am planning on getting licensed this year. very cool endurance and sprint racing, lots of fun and just about an hour north of houston.

i thought about doing the TMPG racing in Katy, but i don't have the full leathers and i'd need to re-gear the bike. i haven't done dirt in years and don't have a bike to do so. the 50 has street tires. if you want to bring the 50 down this weekend we can ride... i'm having people over to make some rock in the morning... should be done by afternoon, or you can come participate in making some home-made live rock

my older bro is going to get his first rocket in a few months ( like 2 or three months) ... since it will be the learner bike, he has his eyes set on a new 250 ninja... im sure everyone in the family will end up getting a bike sooner or later... someone just has to get the first one.. then everyone follows... lol..

that BUSA is sweet!!!! would love to be able to handle a big boy bike with 1k cc but i think im too small.. plus no m license et.. lol.. ( only 5'6'' or 5'7''... and 135 lbs... )

A 250 is really good to start. I don't think people should be allowed to start with big bikes. It's just to dangerous (for themselves LOL). I started with a NSR 50 and 6 bikes later I had a 600 CBR but then again I started riding at 14.
Size and weight don't matter :) I knew a girl even smaller than you riding a Busa with a turbo on it. She had no problems smoking everybody out LOL

thats good to know svvad... we all ( my brothers and i) think the 250 will only hold us over for a little while...( that means until someone can afford a bigger bike)
