Well the frags are growing in nicely and have really colored up. I'm happy to see that they've already started encrusting the rocks in a few places too.
This guy was brown when I got him but has started to turn blue:
And this guy was almost completely bleached but is coloring up too:
This monti has really started to take off:
And the "superman" has already grown onto the rock:
I also got a Red Planet frag - sorry for the crappy dirty-glass photo:
And I picked up a few others that I haven't photographed yet.

This guy used to be a boring brown stick, now it's getting lime green tips:
Some insane tunicates growing on the rocks. You can even see their backbones! (Chords):
Shot at an angle through the glass, but this guy is popping new branches everywhere:
All of the clams have grown new scutes and are taking off. The purple monti that i got from Tempset (I think) has also FINALLY started growing too.
I've always wanted one of these guys but have never had a big enough tank. So far he's staying nice and beefy:
Not sure what this guy is (anyone know?) but I got him from Kevin at AAF:
And lastly, this brand new watermelon chalice I just got:

Feb Update
OK so this was fun! I borrowed a friends underwater camera (Panasonic) and took some in-tank and top-down pix. The corals are growing in really well and seem to be getting some great unexpected colors. I did pick up some bryopsis from a frag donor but I think I can get it in check w/ Kalk.

Thanks Chewy - I am not dosing anything, I don't believe in those supplements as I think they only screw up the balance in your tank water and poison everything. I believe that crushed coral in a calcium reactor is all you need - it's coral skeletons right? Seems like the perfect "additive" to me. I also use Kalkwasser in my topoff water as it precipitates out all the phosphates.
I feed PE mysis and formula one - which counts as an additive too I guess
Quoc: thanks! I was very fortunate to get some good clams and I looked and looked and waited till I found the ones I wanted. I also was lucky and could get a gigas from a MARSH member (looks how much new shell it has Clint!) It's loving live too - pretty soon I'm going to start growing corals on the Gigas shell.

Woohoo - this weekend the anemone that I had special-ordered 3 months ago finally came in. It's not the most brightly colored (hopefully it will color up some) but hey - It's a very healthy Ritteri so I'm not complaining.
I have been planning this for a while - I've made a special reef pillar for it in the center of the tank, under the 400W. It seems pretty happy there so far and it ate a big piece of shrimp today. So I'm optimistic.
And here's a BIG full tank shot - hope you have a wide-screen:

Well, it's time for some updated pix. My tank has now been running since Oct 1 2009 to May 2010 - 7 months. I got through my various algaes and things seem to be doing very well now. I lowered my reactor pH from 6.8 to 6.4 and it looks like it's finally keeping up w/ demand.
We had the MARSH spring frag swap last Sunday and I was able to pick up a few interesting species. I'll post some pix when I get my DSLR in play. In the meantime, here are some photos taken w/ my point and shoot camera. Not the best pix so please be kind

Some frag growth pix:
This one shows where the Hawkins Echinata is growing up into the stream from the Eductor and getting its tissue blown off. You can also see the major growth on the "purple grimace" montipora and also the bottlebrush acro.
The "superman" monti has also grown a lot.

Red Planet is finally starting to take off now that I've cranked up my Ca reactor. I think it will form a nice table.
Blurry mandarin shot. He is still fat and happy. I'm considering getting him a mate.
Ritteri doing well and Onyx Percs are growing like weeds. They are captive raised from Minh Nguyen
Crappy pic of my H. hippopus - I have all of the species (6) of giant clams growing in my aquarium now. The tiger derasa has put on a HUGE amount of shell in the last 2 months...
Gigas has also put on quite a bit of shell.
Watermelon chalice is looking good but hasn't grown much.
