I've been wanting a rimless tank and ADA seems like the easiest choice beside custom. So I bought this used 9gal tank off of Craigslist to continue my addiction. So here goes...

I enlisted the help of my friend Bob to build an overflow since a few of the sponsor couldnt. We used pvc foam since we lack supply and tools. It does look pretty good by my standard. I will cover the overflow with corals in the future anyways. I will have a mj1200 running the tank and alternate between foam and carbon.

Nice!

All this rimless talk makes me want to convert my Mini-M to reef!

Got my locline from modularhose.com installed then leak tested the tank with pump running. Everything is great.

Update! I'd like to thank my buddy Bob for putting my lighting together. Its a 70w MH retro. I cant wait to throw corals in.

ps. Any suggestion on the aquascape? I like to leave plenty of room for my coral to growout with the limited space.

Sweet!

After much talk with you and another buddy I have decided to retro my Mini-M's Mini-solar with the 70w MH!

I think since you have the corner overflow have the rock in a landslide look....higher towards the overflow and lower away from it. Also since it does look like it's on a counter then it might be viewable from more then one side? scape it to be low on the far left and towards the front and high in the right/rear!

This tank is gonna be awesome!

Yes, Bob is awesome. I came up with the idea and parts and he put them together.

Any updates?

I just scored a cheap brand new Mini-M that I plan to do a little reef in so I can sit it next to my other Mini-M.
