Holy smoke! Britt's boyfriend proposed last night! 8O
Matt and I are ok with this...I guess! They plan on waiting to get married until he finishes his 4 years with the Army. He's at Ft. Bragg, where he's a paratrooper/sharpshooter/sniper. He'll ship out to Afghanistan in early February, be there a year, then finish his last few months stateside. He's due to leave the Army in late July of '08.
They haven't set a date yet. She plans on finishing her 2 year Associates degree before getting married. He plans on applying for a SWAT team either here or in Missouri (his home state) after leaving the Army.
At least they're planning long range.
It seems like yesterday she was in diapers. Where did my baby go?
