Welcome to Marsh....
So why do they get into those balls up against the glass like that?
Thanks for the Welcome. As for them balling up, mainly used as a defence. They gather together and make these so called "clownfish balls" to make themselves look like a big fish and/or object, thus running away the predator.. Plus it makes them feel safe:) Midnight female is the biggest ive seen as well ,I was so lucky to get her in my program... Will keep you guys updated more...

Welcome to Marsh....

Well they ball up to feel protected, it also gives an impression that they are a giant object thus running off any predators!!!

Very nice set up. I would like to learn more about what you do on hatch night and maybe some pics of your larval set up. I am having a hard time getting my clowns past the first night. Thanks in advance.
