What I mean by that was open floor space on the bottom of your tank...space not taken up by rocks.

ok now ive got some sand n rock on a cycle, wat i did is took some dead sand about 80 lbs n added water out of my 120(water change)around 30 gal n put it with 40 lbs of live sand n 50-80lbs live rock a will this help that dead sand come live?
Arthur, I can probably beat any price on a custom stand. I just got access to all of my buddy's cabinet making shop and he will sell me the wood at his cost, my jaw dropped when he told me the prices on 3/4 cabinet grade birch plywood. Lets just say that its cheaper than AC and MDF grade ply in addition to the solid redwood linear boards. I have a feeling I am going to be spending alot of my free time over at the shop. I love building stuff.

Where do you stand...on your stand? How about a progress (or lack of) report.
Lol no kidding Im having financial problems at the moment n still waiting on Jason to get back to with a quote I had another guy but he won't have it done till after mid July, that's too long for me lol, but I have dead sand cycling with some live rock n live sand for now who's making ur stand?

Mine came with a stand. I just didn't have the doors attached at the time. It's an "alright" stand for now. Not what I really want but it'll do until I move.
Should have you a quote tomorrow. Been super busy and my buddy hasnt been available.
