Week before last, my sweetie and I were visiting in Portland, OR. Whenever I'm in a new city, I always look in the phone book for LFS and you can imagine my surprise to see an ad for Upscales. I've always considered them one of the premier online vendors and they were only a few miles from where we were staying. So naturally, we paid them a visit.
All I can say is WOW! They had 2 main display tanks that were just spectacular. One of them has been up for 17 years.
One of the tanks had the largest lobo I've ever seen - about the size of a volley ball - and a number of huge acans and blasto's.
The other had a lot - I mean A LOT - of lovely acro's.
They also had a lot of Aussie scolys and cynarina as well as acans. Prices seemed pretty competitive too. In one of their sales tanks, there was a giga that must have weighed about 30 lbs.
I got to meet both JR and Travis, nice guys and very knowledgable - you'd have to be if you can keep a tank for 17 years. JR mentioned he ships to Texas a lot. They both said the best thing would be to give them a call if I wanted to order.
Based on the quality of their merchandise and the appearance of the store and the conversations I had with JR and Travis, I think I'll be getting some livestock from them for sure.

Good luck,
Steve
