Hey all
I noticed some stuff in my tank not opening and so we tested my KH and Cal
KH - 21
Cal - 500
Salinity - .022
Everything else was good... any ideas how to get KH down...I add super buffer and Cal every other day....
I havea 20 gal refigium under my tank, tank has been up for 4 months.

Definitely stop adding the buffer for awhile. Water changes may not help depending on the brand of salt used. Some are 'over-buffered'. What kind of salt do you use?

this is what i normally do if my dkh is too high..get distilled water from walmart that comes with very low alk property

not sure of type of salt I get it premixed...when i needed to add I used oceanic...
Someone mentioned maybe adding more cal???? any thoughts....I have a picture of the thing that is not opening up today or yesterday....Not sure how to post...
