Ok, I have a turboflotor 1000 that I've been trying to get to work today.
I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
I've tried two ways to hook it up.
First way, attaching it to the output of my refugium and letting it gravity feed. It starts filling the collection cup super fast with water.
Then I try a weak power head as the input and it does the same thing.
It produces a lot of foam at first and looks like it will work.
Also, it has a lot of bubbles coming out of the return tubes.
Anyone familiar with these skimmers??

anyone have a decent in sump or external skimmer they want to sell?
