My wife & I are looking for a new king mattress. We don't want a credit card payment. We don't want to finance anything.

We're looking to spend under $500. If anyone has any tips - we'd be highly appreciative.

King for under $500 is going to be hard last time I looked. I love my bed since it has AC and Heat but it was a lot more then $500.

Ya, that's tough.

We ditched the Tempurpedic and got a Latex foam mattress with a wool topper. So much nicer.
But no where near $500. I think the wool topper alone was more than that.

Just make sure which ever one you choose you are 100% sure. We spent a bunch on our new bed a couple of years ago and hate it! Returned it for a different one a couple of days later and told we couldn't exchange again, hated it even more wanna buy it ? Lol head n feet move up n down and vibrates lol

I want the one with different temps and firmness per side cuz hubby n I are soooo different in our preferences. but afraid to pay that kind of money again and hate it too lol

You can go to gallery furniture and ask to see their clearance matteress. That is where I get my mattresses for my rent houses.

We ended up going to a local store in our area. Saved a little more & spent $700. It's a king mattress only but we've never slept better.

Great that you found something Justin. I was going to recommend trying a Mattress Firm outlet store. I bought two Serta queen memory foam mattresses and matching box springs, including a mattress protector, tax and delivery for $500 each. The guy at the Willowbrook area clearance store really knocked the price down for me, so I bought two for my boys.

Nothing beats a comfortable mattress. Good luck with it!
