So, after a small hiatus, I'm back, couldn't keep a tank out of the house. Going with a 29 gal drilled for a custom BAO ghost overflow. Stand is custom, sump is a 20H with a set of BAO baffles. I wasn't planning on posting until this was up and running but a few setbacks have given me way more time than I wanted... I will say, always leak check multiple times and play with all valves.. So, here goes...

Unfinished stand, stand no. 2, wife didn't like the first one...

Nice. Can't wait to see your progress.
Thanks!

Thanks, it can be both relaxing and infuriating working with wood some days. The cabinet lights can be found here: Sam's Club

I honestly can't remember what bulb I currently have over the fuge. Although it may get swapped out for an AI Prime depending on whether or not I can sell it.
Looking great man. Good start!
Thanks, I got a few ideas from your build.

Update, new valve en route (no idea on eta), sand delayed another day, heater and refugium mud should be arriving today, still waiting on ATI for word that my light fixture is stateside. Light hanger should be ready on Wednesday.

I used a drill press but you're more than welcome to use it. Bulbs and fuge mud arrived today.

This is how mine turned out.

This showed up in my mailbox last night...

When I got to the post office they handed me this...

Not sure if I blame usps for mishandling or premium aquatics for poor packaging. Either way, sand finally made it here and lights arrive tomorrow!
