New Build Ideas - Dimension Question … 112G vs 120G (Fish & Coral)

Aloha! I'm new to the hobby & looking at SC Aquarium tanks… BUT I'm trying to decide between the 112G and 120G due to their dimensions.

112 Gallons- 60" x 18"L x 24"H (12mm, 3x panel starfire glass)
120 Gallons- 48"W x 24"L x 24"H (10mm, 3x panel starfire glass)

I like the 112 for the longer (60") dimension to give fish a longer pool lane to swim in, but it's narrower (18" front to back)…meanwhile, the shorter 48" 120G tank has more depth (24") for aquascaping floor space.

I wanted to pick the guru's brains as to which dimension to prioritize for the long term…knowing that I'm trading one benefit for another. If anyone has experience with the company (SC Aquariums) or thinks there are better manufacturers, I'm open to your feedback. Thanks in advance.

my new 112 is 60"L x 24"w x 18"D... That might be an option if you like the wider but longer tank, but you do lose a bit of depth. But by no means am I a guru ;)
