Yea that is exactly what I have. Thats the kind of coral that has a LOT of potential to color up. When Kevin bought his, it was the same color. But you guys know what mine turned into. Here's an older pic:

the colony Kevin had back then turned to that reddish color as in that tank pic from HK. weird that it turned to bright purple in your tank.. either color is nice anyway - you can't go wrong w/ it :)

5pm is a good time to check out the new shipments. I usually try to pick out my stuff around 4 pm as the van pulls up. :)

Oh new shipment? Hmm.. well I told Donnie's bro to hold that table coral for me so I can pick it up after work instead of holding it here at work taking a chance of it leaking. ;) Im sure i will see you there.

Another thing.. there was another table that was also nice.. but it was labeled as a Plana.. but it looks more like a desalwii. Dont you think? It was really nice too! But I already have a desalwii and those are a bit more common.

hey, my cell ran out of battery so can check your vm.. so we are going to meet there ~5-6pm? i sent you an email in case you want to call me at work.

i thought the other table is a desawii too, but Tom showed the pics of the desawii and plana in his Coral of theworld book .. and i got to agree that it's a plana.. they look very similar, but the plana has thinner branches and single tip while desawii tends to have multiple tips from each branch! but the color is pretty much the same.
all these tables coming in yesterday are really nice... you should get them all for your soon to be big tank:) they only come in once a year! :D seriously, how many times you ever see big wild colonies of deep water sps coming to a lfs? or even available online?
