Just wanted to let folks know what I figured out from manual dosing.

I have been letting my tank get down to .1ppm. for the last two months (takes a 2-3 days) then dosing Brightwell FlorinGro (which is Sodium Nitrate, but they intend it for freshwater application) to push it back up to 5ppm. The other day, I pushed it from .1ppm to 10ppm in one dose. Had a little skin lose on some corals, but everything has settled out after that.

The moral of the story is don't raise your nitrates more than 5ppm in one sitting. Just wanted to share my results. Happy reefing!

Mine stays around 10-20 most of the time. I don't think I've ever seen .1. Wow that's low.

Filtration is a skimmer rated for about 75 gallons, a kiss concert intensity light over a big ball of cheato, and a butt ton of live rock. System is about 300 gallons with a 150 display.

No idea. Not enough to make the ball roll. I'm going to order a jebao to roll it soon though. If y'all want to crowd fund me an apex I can get one of their fancy flow meters and let y'all know though 😁
