Well came home to a nice little surprise in the fish tank last night. One of my LTA's had a long chat with the intake screen on the maxijet power head. I spent a few hours last night very slowly and carefully trying to extract the LTA. So far so good, there does seem to be a slight tear near the mouth area but the foot seems to be relatively intact if not a little stretched out, ok, way stretched but no tears. Most of the tentacles are pretty shredded. I would have taken pics and even considered it but was more worried about getting it out of the screen. After the extraction operation the anemone is back in the tank and has its foot buried down in the sand bed under the rocks and the portion on the top that had a tear, the whole area is kind of curled in on itself. I'll try to get some pics tonight. The clowns don't seem to mind and spend most of their time in the larger undamaged LTA. Just one of the hazards of walking anemones in a tank. I hope it survives
